A wider FOV increases the amount of on-screen information but can impact performance.

Recommendation: Use a medium FOV setting for a balance between immersion and performance.

Upscaling Technologies

DLSS (NVIDIA) or FSR (AMD): These technologies upscale lower resolutions to improve performance while maintaining visual quality.

Recommendation: Disable unless you have a high-end GPU like an RTX 3080 or better.

Other Optimization Tips

Update Drivers

Ensure your GPU drivers are up-to-date. Manufacturers like NVIDIA and AMD frequently release optimizations for new games.

Background Applications

Close unnecessary applications running in the background to free up system resources.

Windows Settings

Game Mode: Enable Game Mode in Windows settings for better gaming performance.

Power Plan: Switch to “High Performance” or “Ultimate Performance” in Power Options.

Overclocking

If you’re comfortable with overclocking, slightly boosting your GPU and CPU can provide noticeable improvements.

Network Optimization

Throne and Liberty is an online game, so network stability affects performance.

Use a Wired Connection: Reduces latency and packet loss.

Optimize Router Settings: Prioritize gaming traffic if your router supports Quality of Service (QoS).

Close Bandwidth-Intensive Applications: Ensure no downloads or streaming apps are running during gameplay.

Testing and Benchmarking

After applying the settings, use the game’s built-in benchmarking tool (if available) or monitor your FPS with software like MSI Afterburner. Aim for a consistent 60 FPS for a smooth experience, though 30-45 FPS may be acceptable on lower-end systems.

Conclusion

7 Most Profitable Skills in Old School RuneScape

Old School RuneScape (OSRS) offers a rich and diverse experience where players can engage in a variety of skills to level up, explore the world, and earn wealth. Among these, some skills are more lucrative than others, providing opportunities for players to make a significant amount of OSRS gold. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting your OSRS journey, understanding the most profitable skills can help you efficiently work toward your financial goals.

In this guide, we’ll break down the 8 most profitable skills in Old School RuneScape, considering factors such as time investment, market demand, and the potential for consistent returns.

1. Runecrafting

Runecrafting is often considered one of the most profitable skills in OSRS, especially for high-level players. Although it can be a slow and tedious skill to train, it offers high rewards for those who dedicate time to mastering it.

Profit Potential: The profit from Runecrafting primarily comes from crafting runes, particularly Nature runes and Soul runes, which are used in high-demand spells and alchemy. Players can craft Rune Pouches and Binding Necklace items, both of which have high resale values.

Key Methods for Profit:

Crafting Nature Runes: Nature runes are commonly used in Alchemy (for gold-making) and Telekinetic Grab spells, so they have a high demand in the market. Players can craft Nature runes at the ZMI Altar or the Nature Altar.

Crafting Soul Runes: This high-level Runecrafting method involves crafting Soul runes at the Soul Altar, yielding significant profits due to their value in higher-level spells.

Profitability: At higher levels (80+), crafting Nature runes at the ZMI Altar (level 65 Runecrafting) can yield between 250,000 to 300,000 GP per hour. Players with level 91 Runecrafting can craft Soul Runes, making up to 700,000 GP per hour.

While Runecrafting is often slow to level, it’s one of the best ways to make substantial profits once you achieve higher skill levels.

2. Slaying

Slayer is one of OSRS’s most versatile and rewarding skills. It involves training the skill by killing specific monsters assigned by Slayer Masters. The monsters you fight often drop valuable items, some of which are in high demand.

Profit Potential: The main source of income in Slayer comes from drops such as High Alchables, Rare drops, and Slayer-related gear. Some monsters, like Abby Demons, Kalphites, and Thermonuclear Smoke Devils, drop items that can be sold for high profits, including Demon Task drops and Smoky Key for valuable rare items.

Key Profitable Slayer Monsters:

Abby Demons: They drop Abby Whips, which sell for a high price and are in demand for combat training.

Kalphite Soldiers: These creatures drop Kalphite Pieces, including the highly profitable Kalphite Queen drops.

Thermonuclear Smoke Devils: Drop Smoke Devils and Smoky Key which can lead to high-end profit from the Smoky Treasure Chest.

Profitability: Training Slayer while focusing on high-level tasks can result in consistent hourly profits. High-level players can expect to make 400,000 to 1 million GP per hour depending on the monsters they’re assigned and the drops they get.

Slayer is often seen as one of the most rewarding skills because it combines combat training with profitable drops, making it a great money-making activity for players of various levels.

3. Herblore

Herblore is a skill that involves making potions using herbs and other ingredients. While the skill itself is not as time-intensive as some others, it can yield very high profits depending on market trends and potion demand.

Profit Potential: The profits in Herblore largely come from making high-demand potions like Super Restores, Saradomin Brews, and Prayer Potions. These potions are used by players for combat, bossing, and PvP, meaning there is always a consistent demand.

Key Profitable Potions:

Super Restore: Often used in raids, bossing, and PvP, these potions are in constant demand.

Herblore is most profitable for high-level players who can make potions quickly, but even mid-level players can profit by focusing on popular potions like Prayer and Super Strength.

4. Fishing

Fishing is one of the oldest and most profitable gathering skills in OSRS. The market for fish, whether for cooking, Herblore ingredients, or high-level bosses, remains strong.

Profit Potential: The most profitable fish in OSRS are Sharks, Anglerfish, and Minnows. High-level players can fish for these valuable items, which sell for significant amounts.

Key Fishing Locations:

Sharks: These are fished at Shark Fishing Spots in Piscatoris Fishing Colony and can yield substantial profits.

Anglerfish: Fished at Piscarillus House and provides high healing potential, which is highly valued in PvM.

Minnows: The Minnow spots offer massive quantities of fish that can be caught quickly, generating high profits.

Profitability: Fishing can generate 300,000 to 1 million GP per hour, depending on the fish being caught and the player’s fishing level. The Anglerfish and Sharks are particularly profitable, as they are both used for Healing Potions and Bossing.

Fishing is a relatively straightforward skill to train and can be highly profitable when focusing on high-level fish.

5. Woodcutting

Woodcutting is another gathering skill that provides consistent profits, especially when focusing on high-value logs like Magical Logs, Yew Logs, and Teak Logs.

Profit Potential: The primary way to earn gold from Woodcutting is by selling logs or Timber products to other players. Yew Logs and Magic Logs are two of the most profitable types of logs, used for high-level training or Firemaking.

Key Locations for Profit:

Yew Trees: Found in places like Edgeville and Taverley, Yew Logs are a staple for players looking to make Arrows, Crossbow Bolts, and other high-demand items.

Magic Trees: These provide Magic Logs, one of the highest-value logs in OSRS.

Profitability: The profit from Woodcutting can range from 250,000 GP to 1 million GP per hour when cutting high-demand logs like Yew and Magic Logs. Magic Logs, in particular, can bring in substantial returns for high-level players.

For players who prefer a more passive and relaxing way to earn money, Woodcutting is a great option. The key to making significant profits is focusing on the logs in high demand.

Key Locations for Profit:

Runite Rocks: These rocks are found in the Wilderness, and Runite Ore is often in high demand from Smithers and other players.

Amethyst: While mining Amethyst requires level 92, it’s an excellent option for players who want to profit from Amethyst Arrows or Jewelry.

Key Services for Profit:

Elden Ring DLC: The Strategic Impact of the Guardian Costume Armor

Elden Ring expansive world, rich lore, and challenging combat mechanics have kept players engaged since its release. With the arrival of downloadable content (DLC), the game has expanded even further, adding fresh experiences and new strategic opportunities. One such addition is the Guardian Costume, an iconic set of armor associated with the formidable Guardian enemies of the Little Eltri region.

What makes the Guardian Costume stand out is its significant enhancement to healing—a critical factor in Elden Ring punishing world. This armor notably increases the effectiveness of Vials of Crimson Tears, the primary method of health restoration in the game. For players accustomed to the high-stakes nature of Elden Ring boss encounters and perilous exploration, the ability to heal more efficiently during combat is a game-changing advantage.

Healing mechanics in Elden Ring are multifaceted, with various factors influencing the effectiveness of healing items. The Guardian Costume plays a pivotal role by boosting healing from Crimson Tears, which are essential for staying alive in the heat of battle. When paired with Sacred Tears—which further increases healing by up to 10%—this synergy creates a powerful combination, allowing players to stay in combat longer and reduce the need for frequent retreats to recover health.

Additionally, the armor can provide extra healing beyond what’s typically offered by Vials, making it invaluable during protracted encounters. Whether you’re facing off against a difficult boss or enduring a wave of enemies, the ability to sustain yourself longer on the battlefield can shift the tide of a fight in your favor.

However, every advantage comes with its drawbacks. The Guardian Costume comes with a noticeable penalty: a reduction in fire resistance. Since elemental damage plays a crucial role in Elden Ring combat, this trade-off must be carefully considered, particularly when preparing for battles against fire-based enemies or traversing fire-damaged environments.

This weakness requires players to adapt their strategies. For example, when using the Guardian Costume, players might choose to complement it with armor or talismans that bolster fire resistance. The key to success is finding the right balance, leveraging the healing boosts while minimizing the vulnerabilities introduced by the costume fire resistance penalty.

One of the most compelling features of the Guardian Costume is its adaptability across different playstyles. Elden Ring allows for a high degree of customization, and this armor is no exception. Depending on your build—whether focused on strength, intelligence, or agility—the Guardian Costume can enhance various aspects of your character combat style.

For players focusing on strength and tanky builds, the Guardian Costume can serve as a core piece of armor. The increased healing enables these players to take risks in close combat, surviving longer and absorbing more damage while dishing out their own punishing attacks. Pairing the costume with heavy weapons or shields can make for a resilient, offensive powerhouse capable of enduring the heat of battle.

For those who prefer intelligence-based or magic builds, the Guardian Costume proves invaluable as well. With its enhanced healing, players can maintain consistent spellcasting during prolonged encounters without worrying about health running low. The synergy between healing boosts and magical attacks makes for a well-rounded strategy, combining long-range damage with survivability.

Agility-focused players, who rely on quick movements and dodges, also find the Guardian Costume useful. The armor healing effect allows them to stay mobile and aggressive, applying constant pressure on their opponents without being bogged down by the risk of taking too much damage. Fast-paced, dexterous builds can truly shine when paired with this armor, enabling swift, offensive maneuvers while remaining resilient in combat.

Ultimately, the Guardian Costume in Elden Ring DLC is more than just a piece of defensive equipment—it’s a tactical choice that influences a player overall combat approach. Its powerful passive healing effects allow for a wide range of builds and playstyles to flourish. Whether you’re a tanky warrior, a spell-casting mage, or a nimble rogue, this armor can be tailored to fit your strategy, offering both risk and reward.

As Elden Ring continues to evolve with future DLC and updates, understanding the intricate mechanics behind armor and Elden Ring Items effects will be crucial for mastering the game ever-more challenging encounters.

If you’re looking to further empower your journey, keep an eye on the MMOexp community, where players share tips, strategies, and opportunities to acquire valuable resources like buy Elden Ring Runes to fuel your conquest.

College Football 25: An In-Depth Look At All The Info And Updates We Know So Far

With just over a month to go until the official release of EA Sports College Football 25, most fans are already eager to learn more. So, I will keep a close eye on any news on this front to keep you updated.

Release Date & Cover Stars

College Football 25 has a release date of July 19, 2024. However, as with most EA releases, one of the pre-order bonuses is the ability to play three days early. This means that those who buy it before release can start on July 16, 2024.

This is EA’s first college alternative to Madden NFL 24 since NCAA Football 14, and the cover stars will be Quinn Ewers, Travis Hunter, and Donovan Edwards.

Trailer

We now know the release date of College Football 25, and we have received a trailer that was recently released. We are looking forward to  CFB 25 Coins some old-fashioned recruiting in Dynasty mode.

College Football 25 trailer shows off all the intricate details that are returning to the series, such as lifelike mascots, jerseys, locker rooms, and stadiums. It also confirms the original four teams: Michigan, Georgia, Florida and Alabama.

Dynasty Mode & Road To Glory Will Return

Now back in NCAA 14, Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory quickly became fan favorites, and the return of these modes just 10 years later means a lot to a lot of people.

According to EA, both Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory will feature a transfer portal and NIL, which will add more depth and complexity to team building and individual journeys. While no further information has been released on exactly how this will work, I expect to learn more about this in future data mining.

College Awards

Speaking of major college awards, Heisman Trophy has been confirmed to be in the game, which is undoubtedly a big win for many fans.

However, EA failed to reach an agreement with College Football Awards Association, resulting in major achievements, such as Maxwell Award and Jim Thorpe Award being excluded.

Still, players can expect alternative awards like best QB and best running back to recognize outstanding performances, both in Dynasty Mode and Road to  cheap CUT 25 Coins Glory.

College Football Playoffs

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The 12-team College Football Playoffs will debut in the game, giving us a preview of what it will look like before NCAA football season begins.

It was previously revealed that the developers will be tailoring it for Conferences, but there’s no word yet on changes to Playoff format and the number of teams that will be able to enter Playoffs.

FCS Teams Might Be Missing

While FCS teams won’t be in the initial release, all 134 FBS teams, including their stadiums, unique uniforms, and different college traditions, will be in the game.

In addition, EA has hinted that FCS teams may be added to subsequent updates or future games. The good news is that more than 11,000 college football players have opted in to the game, including star players like Travis Hunter, Jalen Milroe, Shedeur Sanders, Shilo Sanders, Quinn Ewers, Dillon Gabriel, Carson Beck, and more.

Opted Out Players

Sadly, as one of the biggest names, Arch Manning will opt out of NCAA 25, but it is said that players who opt out will have a chance to rejoin. In this case, players who opt out like Arch Manning will have a chance to rejoin and be added in the next roster update.

One important update about the opted out players is that we will not be able to edit these players and enter their real names into the game. Instead, EA will use generic players based on the traditional strengths or weaknesses of a position at that school over the past decade.

While this may disappoint some fans, it is EA’s way of protecting the privacy of players who opt out. Unfortunately, real-life coaches will also not appear in this year’s game, but EA remains optimistic that they will be added in future versions.

Diverse Gameplay

Even without real coaches this year, EA says the game has almost 134 different ways to play, ensuring that each team stays true to their real-life playing style, tactics, traditions, and recruiting strategies.

This is tremendous news for people who want to play NCAA. It allows them to get a feel for what it’s like to be a part of a college football team, whether you’re the hotshot coming out of high school or trying to lead the biggest underdog to a national championship.

Broadcasting Improvements

More exciting news has recently emerged on social media, with Chris Fowler talking about the final NCAA broadcast taping phase. He shared that he and Kirk Herbstreit are preparing for the final taping, where they will simulate the small talk in the broadcast booth and fine-tune the high-intensity calls.

As an example, Fowler said he wasn’t happy with a broadcast call in Ohio State vs Michigan matchup, when Ohio State ran a 75-yard touchdown on the opening play. He emphasized the meticulous attention to detail in this game, and the feeling of expressing excitement when the big plays happen, just like in real life.

Additionally, on Pat McAfee Show, Kirk Herbstreit hinted that there might be different broadcast booths depending on the type of game you’re playing. This means that there will be different announcers depending on the type of game being played.

I think that adding this feature would be one of the best additions to sports games ever. Not only would it be more refreshing and realistic to have different announcers for each game, but having different voices telling us how nicely we reacted to each play.

Ultimate Team

Another confirmed feature in NCAA 25 is Ultimate Team, but very little information has been revealed about the mode other than EA trying to reduce the “pay to play” aspect of Ultimate Team. If you’ve played Madden Ultimate Team, you probably know that investing CFB 25 coins into your team is almost a must. This is something EA wants to eliminate, as it significantly affects your team’s competitiveness.

However, while this has been made clear, the specifics remain to be seen. EA is aiming to attract casual gamers and college football fans, and by reducing in-game payments, it could potentially attract more people to Ultimate Team.

Are you guys interested in playing Ultimate Team? Which players would you like to see join the game?

As we get closer to the official launch in July, EA is starting to ramp up its marketing efforts, putting up posters promoting the game at major universities like Ohio State, Florida State, Florida, Texas A&M, and Michigan. Let me know what you think and which modes you most or least looking forward to. I’ll see you in the next update!
